Navigation tree hangs with spinner for users without program rights

I currently have the issue in one XWiki 17.10.4 envionment, that for users without programming rights, the navigation tree hangs with a “Loading” spinner and the notification icon in the upper right isn’t placed correctly.

Neither the javascript console nor the network tab gives any hit, what the problem may be.

If I give the user programming rights, all is working normaly.

Hi.

We had the same issue a few weeks ago.

The cause of the problem was that a permission had been explicitly enabled (checked) for one user group, which prevented other user groups from viewing the content.

Have you made any changes to the permissions and enabled (checked) the “View” permission for a user group?
