Hi @rogerpenna,

You can translate this module from XWiki Platform/xwiki-platform-notifications/XWiki.Notifications.Code.Translations — Portuguese @ Weblate XWiki.org: Notifications.

Thanks,

Never really used Weblate before. Do I just translate each term and click “save and continue”, and next XWiki Docker image the translation will be there?

Yes, click Save and continue and the new string to translate will be available for translation.
The translations are quickly merged into the project so, yes, it will be available in the next XWiki Docker image.

Done. 236 translations.

Used ChatGPT and PowerAutomate to speed up the process.

I did/do a lot af translations for the german community. The first round took me about 2 full days of work. Now I watch nearly everything I could enable in the weblate settings regarding german issues.

This way I receive an email if something could be interesting. That sometimes happens twice a week, sometimes once a month. But then I only have to work on smaller bits and not hundreds of translation at a time again.

I basically copied the list of words and pasted at ChatGPT, asking it to give me back the original terms in English and Portuguese translations in a table format.

Everytime it did, I would copy and paste it at an Excel file and at Weblate click at the last word, so it changed “page” (show the next 30 or so)

After I created the Excel list with 236 terms, I made a Powerautomate Desktop app that would copy translation from each row of Excel to clip area, then I would paste it at Weblate and the moment I clicked the button SAVE AND CONTINUE it would recognize, and change Excel row to new translation.

I could make it fully automatic, but I would lose too much time debugging it, so it would check if the inserted text was correct, if not clean and try again, etc, etc. If I had to create 5000 terms translation it would be worth it. But for 236 it would take more time programming the automation than doing it partially by hand, with Powerautomate just interfacing with Excel, etc
