Hi all,
I’d like to request a new wiki on MyXWiki.org for Bátor Tábor Alapítvány, a Hungarian non-profit organization that provides lifelong experiences and experiential therapy programs to seriously and chronically ill children and their families.
We would like to build a knowledge base and documentation platform for users and developers to support operational and refinement processes.
I’d like the owner to be VAM (https://myxwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/XWiki/VAM).
I’d like the wiki to be named: batortabor
Kind regards,
Attila
You can access your new wiki on https://batortabor.myxwiki.org.
Enjoy !
Thank you, I can access the wiki, however, when I try to add a new page, or save an edit (on the main page), i receive the following popup message:
Then if I reload the page i get a red toast message that the buttons couldn’t be load (or something similar).
Then if I try to refresh the page again I usually get 429: “Too many requests” response and I have to wait.
I’m not sure there is something I missed setting up, or what is the issue here.
(And I faced this issue ever since you posted your message (I tried it ~1 hour later), but I thought it might need some time to set itself up properly. After 2 days I’m not so sure anymore.)
Any help would be appreciated.
Constant bot “attacks” were making myxwiki.org unusable, which it why very strong limits had been put, but they unfortunately became too strong for heavier tasks like creating a new page.
It was decided to move to a “test the client” approach we see more and more on websites, in which you get a slightly annoying temporary page which validate your browser the first time you access it (at least when it identifies it’s new, I’m not really sure what exactly are the criteria). It should hopefully help a lot for a while (at least right now it seems responsive and no problem when creating new pages anymore).
