Nextcloud Integration not working

Hey, i tried to set up the Nextcloud Integration, but i´m stuck on a problem:

Both Xwiki and Nextcloud are using LDAP Login for all Users. If i set xwiki.authentication.authclass property in the xwiki.cfg file to org.xwiki.contrib.oidc.provider.OIDCBridgeAuth - we can no longer login to xwiki → Wrong credentials

Login via the Nextcloud App is also not possible.

if don´t set the property i the first login from the Nextcloud App is possible, but afterwards Nextcloud cannot login with the users credentials.

i tried to find something in the log files, but i´m stuck.

Maybe anyone had this issue already or some suggestions how to proceed or fix this.

I guess you’re referring to https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Nextcloud%20Application/

Maybe @rjakse has an idea?

Since the Nextcloud extension on XWiki's side requires setting `xwiki.authentication.authclass` to `org.xwiki.contrib.oidc.provider.OIDCBridgeAuth`, using login methods that requires setting `xwiki.authentication.authclass` to something else won't work. For instance, LDAP, which should be fairly common. We shall find some way to support other authentication schemes.

Unfortunately, I can’t promise anything on this topic as we are currently working on other things. Hopefully we’ll get to work again on the Nextcloud integration in the near future.

I ran into the same problem. We use LDAP authentication in NextCloud and xWiki. I’m interested in integrating NextCloud with xWiki, but I can’t seem to implement it in this setup.
Please tell me if there are any updates available at the moment.
I’ll keep an eye out.
