Notifications not working with xwiki kubernetes deployment (Xwiki chart helm)

Hi,

I’ve been using a self-hosted instance of xwiki (14.10.18) under Docker for a few years. I want to deploy it on a Kubernetes cluster with data and configuration retention.

Currently everything works except notifications using the xwiki helm chart. My Activity Stream displays the new activities but the notification icon remains silent, always showing me No notifications available!

On the log side, I don’t see any specific errors in this.

I admit I don’t know where to investigate to resolve this problem.

Good morning,

after some investigations, the problem was on solr’s side. The events were recorded but not returned in xwiki. A restart of the solr instance was enough for everything to return to normal.

I have no explanation for the cause of this problem.
