Try to implement this solution (option 1 on step 4) - it does not work in my installation. This tip was validated on IE and Chrome, but I use Mozilla Firefox 73.0.1. How can I use this tip with firefox?

I’ve succesfully done this in our instance and it generally works.
But I’ve just discovered that it’s not working for external links in comments:

Though the HTML looks similar: could be that the comments section is loaded asynchronously, hence the “DOMContentLoaded” event triggers too early?
