Hi devs,
I’ve added an organization-wide CONTRIBUTING.md to xwiki/.github, next to the existing SECURITY.md: [Misc] Add an organization-wide CONTRIBUTING.md pointing to the contributing guide by vmassol · Pull Request #5 · xwiki/.github · GitHub (merged).
GitHub links CONTRIBUTING.md when someone opens a PR and shows it in the repo’s community profile, but only xwiki-platform had one: xwiki-commons, xwiki-rendering and our other repos didn’t. As an org default, it applies to every repo of the xwiki org that doesn’t have its own (xwiki-platform keeps its one-liner). The content only points to dev.xwiki.org: the Contributing guide, the Development Practices, the Security Policy and the forum, so dev.xwiki.org stays the single source of truth.
For xwiki-contrib, see A .github repo for the xwiki-contrib GitHub organization.
Is that ok with everyone? If you’d like something changed or removed, just say so and I’ll adjust it.
Thanks
