Perfomance issue in editor-Mode

Hey,
I have a site with ~ 3k lines of content as text (XWiki Debian 13.10). I have no macros, tables, headlines or something else like javascript and css, on this page, only plain text and empty lines.
If I try to edit this page the performance goes down (keyboard inserts apply in slow motion).
If I remove all empty lines on this site, the performance goes up and is on a normal level.

Is there a solution, where i can keep the empty lines and still have my performance on a normal level?
Is there a maximum of content a xwiki-site can handle?
Can I increase the maximum content a xwiki site can handle?

Thank you for your time!

The problem occurs in chrome / opera and edge.
I experienced a slightly better performance in firefox.

any suggestions?

Thx for the help!

What editor are you using? WYSIWYG Editor or Wiki Editor? If you use the Wiki Editor, do you have the Syntax Highlighting enabled? In any case, I don’t see how empty lines alone can cause this issue. If your content is not wiki syntax but plain text, have you tried to set the page syntax to plain? (you can “enable” the plain syntax from the Wiki Administration).
