Periodically share page content by mail

Hi there,

I was wondering if it’s somehow possible to share a page (content) periodically (weekly, daily like notification mail) by mail. I don’t know where to start, because it should happen in background and not triggered by any user interaction. Maybe you can help me find a start?

There is no out of the box option for this use case, but you could do it with a bit of scripting.

You will need:

• to create a scheduler job: see https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Scheduler%20Application#HCreatinganewJob
• use the mail sender API: see https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Mail/MailSenderAPI
