Permissions for File Manager App

I’m using the File Manager Application (http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/File%20Manager%20Application) to manage a document library in a space. I am using the Display macro to display the actual file manager page in another page (same space), as I need to add other text, etc… around the file manager itself.

For my general users group, this is fine (have permissions to pretty much access all non-admin functions on the wiki). For users of a more limited access group (only have permissions to individual spaces as needed), while the page itself displays the include macro content does not. They have permissions in the site’s root space (Main) so macros, etc run.

I assume this is related to not having specific permissions to a resources, such as a macro page. If anyone can give me some insight into what other space/ pages I may need to give this group permissions, I’d appreciate it.

Do they have view access to the page referenced by the display macro?

{{display reference="pageThatShouldBeViewableByTheCurrentUser" /}}

In other words, if they go to the File Manager home page directly can they see it?

That’s interesting that I didn’t properly check that. They do have access to the library page itself that hosts the file manager in that space, but it doesn’t display properly either. The actual File Manager space is the same - again, I provided permissions to access that space, but it doesn’t display properly either.

There was something in Wiki Administration that needed accessing - giving these accounts view rights to that space fixed the issue.
