we’re planning to perform an upgrade of https://xwiki.org next tuesday 15th of April starting at 10:00 AM CET.
As usual all wikis under xwiki.org should remain available during the upgrade but only in readonly. The upgrade should last a few hours if everything’s ok.

Since 16.10.6 release is going to take a bit more time than anticipated, and we would like to upgrade to it, the upgrade is pushed to Tuesday 22nd of April.
Turns out 16.10.6 is not keen on being released.
The upgrade is pushed to May 7th.
There is still some work, but you can now write again.
A connection dialog pops up when accessing my “public” wiki hosted on *.myxwiki.org ; is there a link with the current upgrade?
@xrichard that thread is about xwiki.org, myxwiki.org is not fully ready yet (it’s getting there, but upgrading that many wikis is taking a while unfortunately).
