I want to preview the changes before I hit the Save & Continue or Save & View button.
In MediaWiki it looks like this:
Does XWiki come with or has an extensions that enables such a feature?

In XWiki you can check the diff after you save by looking at the page history and comparing the revisions. ATM we don’t show the diff before the page is saved and I don’t know any extension that does this. It’s definitely doable though, but it requires some development.
I think this is a good idea as an optional new feature or extension. Would you mind to create a jira issue idea about this at Loading...?
I personally like this feature in my IDE and I always use it before committing so I can see its interest in a wiki page too
