We have a XWiki Contributed Projects - Supported category in jira, see Browse projects - XWiki.org JIRA
See also the categories listed in the system dashboard: Loading...
The proposal is to remove that category from JIRA since it’s hard to maintain and doesn’t bring much value for the users. The proposal is also to not add that category in OP.

AFAIK, there’s no indication about what this category means exactly. The meaning of “Supported” evolved in our community and a category “XWiki supported” does not convey enough information to be relevant anymore. The missing information becomes obvious when comparing it to the support information on an extension page:

It means what it says in the description of that category:
Projects not bundled by default in XWiki Standard and Supported by some entity
Maybe what you meant is that the category description is not displayed on Browse projects - XWiki.org JIRA
But then that’s the same issue for any other category and we don’t want to remove them…
The link is wrong. We’re not talking about XWiki support here but about Contrib Extension Support. The correct link is: https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/ExtensionCode/SupportedExtensions/SupportedDefinition
I’ve updated it to:
Projects not bundled by default in XWiki Standard and Supported by some entity. See https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/ExtensionCode/SupportedExtensions/SupportedDefinition
But I don’t think that it is a good reason for deciding to remove that category.
