Rename article to same as changed title fails

Try this:

1. create article with name “testa”
2. edit title of article to “testb”
3. rename article to “testb”

You will get error message like this:

Error: a document with this name (WebHome) already exists. Please enter a different name.

But I think this is not true. Page reference is still:

....test-a.WebHome

Tested it with 15.10.13. Is this a bug?

This is because the Rename UI is displaying the title in the UI (so testb). You need to select a new page to perform a rename, otherwise the UI will tell you the page already exists.

You can do this by either:

• Changing the title to something else (this will change the page name)
• Click the advanced “new location” pencil icon to specify the page name
