Scroll behavior smoth on page navigation

Hi!

I’d like to start by saying that this is totally a personal preference and I don’t mind if it isn’t implemented.

However, I think the smooth scrolling behavior available in browsers looks a lot more modern than the current default, which jumps around the page when clicking internal links (usually in the TOC in my case).

To implement this change, the scroll-behavior: smooth; CSS property would need to be added to the root of XWiki pages.

Any thoughts on the idea? Do you prefer the current behavior or would you also like smooth scrolling?

Thanks

Hi,

I am a pretty neutral about adding such a change to the standard, so I will let others voice their opinion on this.
I just wanted to mention that, if you’d like, you can easily make the change on your own installation by editing your theme like this:

Hope this helps!
