Toc entries lose a parenthesis

XWiki 14.10.13, TOC entries lose a parenthesis, if it’s the last character in the section title:

I did not manage to reproduce (on 14.10.13, 14.10.18, and 15.8).
Can you tell me if you have some installed extension that could alter the display of the TOC macro?

Good question: it could be the Table of Content Macro for Numbered Headings.

Unfortunately, I uninstalled it, but now:

Am I supposed to reinstall the default one? I can’t find anything like it:

ok, I confirm I can reproduce with the Table of Content Macro for Numbered Headings. Can you create an issue on Loading... please?
For the unknown toc macro, can you check if a wiki restart solves the issue? Uninstalling “Table of Content Macro for Numbered Headings” is not supposed to uninstall the standard toc macro.

Sure: Loading...

Confirmed. Restarting brought back the original TOC.

It’s not, but it replaces it and, unfortunately, when it’s removed the standard one is not registered back automatically at runtime.
