Unable to get any formatting loading XWiki on localhost

Hi,

Trying to navigate my way around the standalone flavor/jetty distribution however when I load it on my computer the main page (and all subsequent pages) are missing any and all formatting. I downgraded to java 8 and not seeing any significant errors or warnings so not sure what could be causing this.

Any idea what could be the problem?

Sounds like the css resource are not loaded. In your browser you should have tools to see the requests executed and you will probably see errors for many of the css/jss resource requests and more details about them.
