Unable to view macros/iframe when "Program" disabled in Global administrator

Hi,

I’m unable to view macros/iframe in a restricted page when “Program” has been disabled in xwiki global administrator for XWikiAllgroup and the page restriction works fine.

It shows “The requested page could not be found”. Is there anything to do with the iframe content security policy ? since I’m very new to this XWIKI.

When I enable the “Program” checkbox in XWikiAllgroup. I’m able to view macros/iframe in the restricted page but the restriction was revoked and it is open to all users.

Can some one help me in this ? Would like to provide further information if needed.

Can you explain what you mean by “macro/iframe” and “restricted” page?

BTW, the way you used rights is not the best one. You don’t need to block rights. see https://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Documentation/AdminGuide/Access%20Rights/#HBasicrules

This is not how it works. If the page is not found it means that the page doesn’t exist (for any user). If you had a problem of permissions, the page would display a warning explaining that you don’t have the permission to view the content.

First I would like to thank you for the response.

I’m using PDF viewer extension, which work well in admin access pages and not working with the generic user page when the program rights was disabled for generic user.

Reinstalled the entire xwiki & worked again fixed this issue.
