Unregistered users can't see tag results

I have a page with a search bar and a tag cloud in it.
This is a site with help docs for our clients so there’s no reason for them to have accounts and log in.
Both search results and tag cloud results send a visitor to the log-in page.
I’ve looked but I don’t see a place to set permissions so that visitors can search and see the results of clicking on a tag.
Where would I look to change those?

I searched again and think I found the solution. Just want to check and make sure that this won’t have any unintended effects.

  1. Navigate to search results page.
  2. Click administer parent.
  3. Click Users & Rights.
  4. Click Rights: Page & Children.
  5. Click Users.
  6. Clear the X in the View box for ‘Unregistered Users’.

Does that look right?
