Use Velocity to move multiple pages from X to Y

Hello,

since what I have seen so far it should be possible, but not sure yet of how to accomplish this task. Can one write a macro that will move a bunch of pages from a branch X to Y, ie. based on regular expressions of the page title? We have a lot of pages that we would like to group to improve navigation, but doing it per by page sounds like a lot of work.
