When setting the option “Prevent unregistered users from viewing pages, regardless of the page rights”, users that are not logged in won’t see the customized favicon and logo but the default ones. Where do I have to put the favicon and logo to really replace/overwrite the defaults? Thanks - Guido
Indeed, this is a known limitation/problem. If the favicon is located in a wiki page then view rights is required. I’ve now documented it at https://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/FAQ/How%20do%20I%20add%20a%20favicon%20for%20my%20wiki in a troubleshooting section.
