Visualisation of a subtree

Dear Community-Members,

is there a macro that can be used in a simple wiki-site to show the content within the tree of that document?

In a dashboard I can add a velocity-script, which shows sites within the dashboard-tree:

The script should
a. only show sites within the subtree of the “mainsite” (not the whole wiki).
b. only show sites, no attachments (like pictures, docs, etc.).

I tried different scripts but didn´t find a solution.

Thanks in advance.

Roland

Hi @Roland,

Did you try the children macro?
https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Children%20Macro/

Or even the documentTree macro:
https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Document%20Tree%20Macro

Hope it helps,
Luc

Thanks Luc,

I tried both in the first place, but I couldn´t figure out how to fit my needs.

Children seems to be the right macro (showing the subtree), but it also shows attachments and I don´t know how to suppress that (there are no parameters to configure).

After reading the descriptions many times and playing with the documentTree-macro, I figured out how to narrow down the content to the subtree.

It´s the “root”-option with following text: wiki:name, document:site.WebHome

works for me now.

Greetings Roland
