Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0

Hi,
I would like to try out XWiki to see if it is a suitable platform where publish a public documents.
One of the requirements I have is that the website needs to meet the WCAG at least to an AA level, which is the intermediate (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0).

Does Xwiki meet these requirement? If yes at which A-level?

Thanks

Hi,

as of now we have automatic tests to ensure conformance with WCAG 1.1 (see https://dev.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Community/WCAGTesting), we started to perform changes to adapt to WCAG 2.0 but it’s still a work in progress (https://design.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Improvements/Accessibility).
We got very recently a new report about some problems to fix for passing WCAG 2.0 AA, so it’s probably something we will work on for next cycle.

FTR we don’t know yet if there are problems or not as we haven’t done the analysis yet (some reported problems are known and already listed at https://dev.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Community/WCAGTesting and considered to not be an issue for passing WCAG).
