"What's new" feature feedback request

If I’ve got evething right, it is normal that (on 15.10.x at least) no specific notification / visual hint, etc. is shown to the users when a new News is posted - I’ve configured the What’s News feature to use the entries from the Blog Application installed on the same instance.

Yes it’s normal, in the sense that it’s a current limitation being discussed at What's New change to use notifications? and no conclusion has been reached yet and no work planned ATM.

Done, thanks, although for my use case even the current UI (specific link that points to a new page) would suffice
