When creating annotations, wiki thinks and then stops

Hi I’m using Ctrl M to create an annotation. A dialogue shows up with text field, I enter the text and click Add Annotation but then it does this

and then the annotation dialogue disappears and there’s no annotation. Is something disabled/ permission denied that we have set?

Hello,

Can you provide me with more additional information, the annotation is created by the author of the text or by a user? And what permission’s sets you’ve provided for this person?

You could also check your browser’s javascript console to see if there are any errors in there.

Last, make sure to clear your browser’s cache in case you’ve upgraded XWiki and this is causing cache issues.
