Why (and what) is XWiki indexing after a a fresh boot?

Let’s say a running XWiki instance has 0 documents in the Solr indexing queue. After rebooting it, it starts to heavily index, with (in XWiki 14) around 10.000 documents to index.

Why is that ? What is it indexing ?

At startup the SOLR module check if there is missing page in the index or SOLR documents to remove and indicate that in the log.
