it looks like after the update many pages are broken, because the text of some elements is missing and only an variable name is shown.
I have taken some screen shots of it and marked the problems in red.
This is most likely because the user used to upgrade didn’t have Programming Rights. It seems that the page WikiManager.Translations (containing translations) could be not be processed because of that as it has GLOBAL scope and that requires Programming Rights.

For the sub wikis, it will work, but not for the main wiki.
An restart of the tomcat don’t help.
It should work fine for any wiki, including the main one. Make sure that the user you save with has Programming Rights.
I have checked the user rights. It will be an member of an group with programming rights. I think when it will be an problem with the rights, that it must failed at the sub wiki’s also.
