In-place editing seems to interact somewhat strangely with the page’s history view.
If the history tab is selected, in-place editing does not seem to update it at all. Also toggling tabs does not immediately refresh it, a full page reload seems to be required.
I understand the probably technical reasons behind this, but for non-technical users this appears to be quite confusing. Is this known/intended, and/or is there any workaround while keeping in-place editing active?

And it’s planned to be fixed in 13.1RC1 and will be backported to 12.10.x I think (see https://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Roadmaps/#HXWiki13.1).
Could you explain what you mean? Why would the history be updated when you’re editing?
