XWiki as Private Web site

I am going from Confluence DC to XWiki as a “personal website”.

With no access - being an anymous user - Xwiki is quite open and I would like to hide/supress parts of it like:

Possible hide comments, attachment, history and Inforamtion section - either globally or perhaps for an “application”

Comming from Confluence, when anonymous is a “users” / known entry - in Xwiki pr. default for a page - her for Help:

And this seems a bit wierd:

As I am a member of “XWikiAdminGroup” removing “view” for “XWikiAllGroup” should not rule me out?

giving:

And that does not stop anonymous users from seeing the page.

I can give myselv full access and user and disable view for “XWikiAdminGroup” also.

So the best/correct way for stop anonymous access is?

Another issues:

Disable to first “help/welcome” popup.

Disable / minimize the “…” tools menu items

Disable register option

At least…

Anyone with good ideas -

Regarding your question on rights, see:

By setting the right on any group or user and not on the guest user, this will forbid guest users the right.

Remove the tour app? https://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Tour%20Application

Not possible by config, and you’d loose a lot of features. Now you can do it using CSS.

Config option in the admin UI.
