XWIKI does not support backslash (/) in page title

Hi,

I have created a page with a title that has backslash in it (eg Procedures/Process). The page is created, but when I try to access the page it shows a broken page with error HTTP Status 400 - Bad request. page_with_backslash

Now I cannot even neither delete nor rename the page. Some help would be really appreciable.

/ is not a backslash - / is a forward slash. The \ character is a backslash.

If you have Apache HTTPD in front of Tomcat then it’s also affected by this behavior. See https://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/mod/core.html#allowencodedslashes.
