Hi,
I am running xwiki in docker with the mentioned image. Just upgraded to version 14.10.13. As this is the LTS versions, the number of upgrades seems high to me (~ 2 per moth). Is this normal? Am I missing something?
Thanks
No, that’s it, the LTS is released basically every two weeks these days. Now you don’t technically have to upgrade every time if it feels too much, we just decided that it was good to make important bugfixes available as soon as possible.
It’s a good thing! It means we’re actively fixing issues. Note that if you’re using a 14.10
or lts
tag for the docker image, all you need to do is to docker pull
it to get the new image and start a container from it.
Also note that all these releases contain important issues, including security fixes and if you have a wiki open on the internet, it’s a good idea to upgrade.
Thanks
