I think we could imagine also reusing this for displaying release notes inside XS, ie when your wiki has been updated, display some important information (like new features or important changes of behaviors). It’s more work but could be interesting for the future.

-1 to myself after more thoughts Using the Notifications area with a link to the RN page on xwiki.org feels like a much simpler and less intrusive option. See also Proposals for improving the Onboarding Experience - #14 by vmassol
